What do y’all do for anemia (not pregnant)? The pills make me feel worse than the anemia.

Eat more green veggies like green beans and broccoli. (I know there’s more but I’m tired and can’t think of more)
You need iron. Eat iron-rich foods. Red meat, beans, enriched cereals, green leafy vegetables

Different pills helped me. I get one on Amazon that’s iron plus vitamin C so the iron absorbs better into your system. Doesn’t bother my stomach and it really works
If you do take iron pills make sure you break them in half. The coating on the pill doesn’t break down fast enough to absorb into your stomach lining.
$15 garden of life vitamins “healthy blood” or raw iron. Both have 22 MG per pill. All Veggie. Kosher, too. It’s not stomach churning like others and helps, alot! Amazon
Eat iron rich foods. That failing, ask your doctor for an iron infusion.
I take slow-release iron pills every few days. Not as hard on the digestive system.
Try the liquid iron instead. Some people react to the pills but seem okay on the liquid.
Outside of that, just google iron rich foods. Bare in mind that some times it is actually an absorption issue though so if you don’t see results over time it will need further investigation.
