So my two week old have been coughing and sneezing up yellow mucus since this afternoon, I’ve already got him an appointment to see his doctor tomorrow morning, I’m hoping it’s this pollen and not a cold but what could you ladies suggest to help him sleep more comfortably till his appointment

Oh poor baby. I hope he feels better soon! The Matys lavender chest rub has been one of our favorites since my daughter was born. It smells great and helps sooth her. Also, nose Frida is amazing to suck out the boogers and keep her dry.

My two month old just got over this. Lasted about a week. Nosefida worked wonders she screamed bloody murder but it helped alot. Vaporizer at night and also I got this stuff you put in her bath. Johnson’s vapour. Just keep checking her temp since she is so small. It’s hard when they are under three months as there isnt much that can be given.

I used to turn on the shower all hot and sit with our babies in the bathroom to breathe in the steam. I didn’t use items with eucalyptus that young, because asthma runs in our family and I heard in rare cases it can cause worsening of asthma in little ones that young. That was just me being super cautious.
Sailene, booger sucker, vaporizer, and chest rub, sometimes even steam from the shower. Make sure you are sucking often since baby can’t get it out like we can. That will be your biggest hurdle is keeping the snot and congestion down enough so baby can rest as much as possible.
Saline spray up the nose and suction it out with a bulb or nose freda
Oh and elevate his head when he sleeps because when they lay flat the mucus tends to get worse
Humidifier, put a pillow under one end of his crib mattress so that his head will be elevated while he sleeps, and use saline drops and suction him. That’s all you can do really. Keep an eye out for a fever. Do not give any cold medication and maybe stand in a steamy bathroom. Good luck!
Saline and suction, elevate head of bed/crib (by elevating the legs or putting a wedge or towel under end of mattress) cool mist humidifier. Babies are obligate nose breathers at this age so hard to feed with stuffy nose. Suction well before feeds and sleep.
I use a humidifier at night. I also use chest rub and saline to get boogies out.
Vaseline around his nose x
Zarbees BABY cough medicine, a cool misty humidifier, and vicks again the baby kind just a dab on the feet and then socks all night
Oh yeah saline and nose frida
Humidifier and gently suction his nose before feedings and naps if possible. Don’t suction after feeding him as this tends to make baby gag. If he’s nursing let him suckle extra just in case, your body will help make antibodies to help.
