Hi mommies
I’m 34 weeks I’ve had a bad sinus infection for the last week and now from all the pressure my top left back teeth are killing me like I want to rip them out they hurt so bad. I went to urgent care and they gave me grade B anabiotic’s. Have any other moms had severe sinus infections to where their teeth hurt and were on anabiotic‘s ? Thank you !!!
Omg yes it was awful…putting a hot rag over my face helped so much
It’s common for sever sinus infections to hurt your upper teeth as your sinus cavity part of it sits above your upper teeth. And antibiotics are how you treat a sinus infection. I mean some you can go with out but if a doc feels it is that bad they will use them as treatment as I don’t think during pregnancy you can use azetiline or Flonase maybe Flonase but not the other tho when not pregnant that combo is amazeballs. Use humidifier, eucalyptus , drink lots of broth water n hot teas it should thin the mucous out a nette pot is amazing too to clear your nose. Good luck feel better soon.
Going through it now I feel like I’m dying my whole face hurts and the pressure is horrible. 100 times worse when you’re pregnant
Had one most of my last pregnancy, it was cause by allergies. Zyrtec was safe to take and I had to be put on antibiotics as well to get it dealt with.
Allegra, mucinex, and tylenol sinus/sinus severe. I’ve had to take it most of my pregnancy and deliver soon
You will make it… Musinex ER is REALLY GD… & SAFE they say 4 the baby too! Tylenol will MAYBE HELP w the pain, but make sure to take ALL of your antibiotic too!! That’s the MAIN THING… Gd Luck…
I’ve taken tyenol sinus/ severe sinus, flonase never really helped me, also hudmifier, drink plenty of water to thin mucus, at one point obgyn prescribed me something almost like a zpac. I’ve had serve pregnancy rhinitis since December. Some days are better than others. Have had sinus infections few times. I’m 35 weeks , so ready to deliver
Honey get you some thieves put under your nose behind your ears when baby comes put in spray bottle with water and spray everybody that comes in your house, kills all germs. Bless your heart
I had sinusitis while pregnant and it escalated into a thing called pericarditis and I almost had a heart Attack.
Try a Betty pot several times a day. It really helps
Hot showers help, even standing over a steaming pot with a towel over your head to keep the steam in.
Yes and it was allergies that had changed into a sinus infection
Yes I had it real bad going into my second trimester, the pain was awful. And they put mw on antibiotics as well which helped alot, and told me to keep hot compresses on the area
Yesssss. They’re terrible. Try flushing out your sinuses when you’re in the shower. It helps a little.
Put a hot compress on your face. It does wonders for the pressure! I had an ear infection last week with sinus pressure and hurting teeth. It took about a week before the meds did anything.
Put warm wash cloths on your face. Then massage your forehead, under your eyes and behind your ears at the bottom. Also massage the bottom of your feet. All of this helps relieve pressure
I had inner ear infection ontop gonna broken shoulder when I was 23 weeks pregnant.i was giving prescription tylenol and an antibiotic
I can’t remember if it can be taken pregnant or not, but Sudafed is a LIFE SAVER for me. I have at least 2-3 sinus infections a year caused by allergies and idk what I would do without sudafed
Buy a nettie pot to flush your sinuses with saline solutions. Works wonders.
Those antibiotics will help relieve SO MUCH pain and discomfort!! It usually takes about 12-24hrs before you are able to tell a huge difference but you’ll definitely be thankful for them. As long as you aren’t on them for an extended period of time, you should be fine. The stress on the baby from severe pain can be far worse than the antibiotics!
Try him if it’s jaw it will work it out
