What can my daughter do while I am working?

Looking for some options. I work from home 3 days out the week & a couple days I have my daughter who is 4 years old home with me. What are some things to keep a 4 year old busy during my work hours, besides putting her in front of a TV? We have dogs & old toys she plays with but have been trying to keep her busy . She always says she’s bored. Maybe need some new interactive toys. Any suggestions?

Educational shows or games. Practicing colors, her name, letters, numbers.
She can spend some time learning while you work. Make it fun for her. Give some rewards for her hard work.
You can hit up Dollar Tree and get fake money and school set up items and give her a space to work* like you. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Paint, playdough, clay, play makeup, dress up clothes, bubbles, get her an animal she can play with a kitten and toys and treats.

I have my 3 yr old grandson some days I work from home. He has his own desk n laptop, its an old one, and playschool phone he helps me work, writes on my whiteboard walk and then usually plays with his cars on his breaks. He us a riot!

You can get easy craft kits off Oriental trading company or from a local craft store like Michael’s… That’s what my sister in-law does with her boys ages 4-6

Get a desk, some art supplies and some office supplies…some ink stamps and an ink pad….she can draw, write, answer a pretend phone, a sticker book, etc.
Lots of books rather than TV……workbooks, sticker books, books!
Get a huge appliance box and cut doors and a window out….her own little “house”……we had our 6&9 yr old Granddaughters for a week and they played in those box houses constantly….decorsted them,I gave them a flashlight and a push light and they made mailboxes and we sent them “mail” every 10 minutes! They begged “Gramps” not to destroy them when they went home so they could play in them when they come back!
Get a tea set and on your break, have a tea party. Or in your break, help her make pudding or jello for dessert for supper….or on your lunch break, take a quick walk., do some exercises, or play a quick board or card game.build with blocks or legos, have a coloring contest while you eat, mix up cookie dough to bake later, look on Pinterest….lots of ideas and craft!

If you dont mind a mess get her playdough sets
