What can you do for a child that is congested?

I have a 5 1/2 year old with a congested nose and fever. Medicines for both are usually 6 years and up. Any suggestions?

Cut up some garlic and let it rest for 10 mins . You could also do a mustard plaster just have to watch it very closely

If you can get your hands on this, it’s a life saver for me & my kids, age says 6 and up but where your child is so close to 6 I’d say it would be okay for them to use. I swear by this stuff it will instantly open you up & lasts 12 hours.

Nasal spray, let the bathroom get all steamy and sit in the steam
