My 7 week old get very congested at night. Slightly during the day but not as bad as night. I am curious if this is normal for babies to get congested? She will start snorting and making this mama sad listening to her. I try helping her but the only thing that makes her breathe better is sneezing. I am on my way to get the nose frida and hoping that helps tremendously but just hoping her congestion is normal.
Mine does too…I think it is because my house is dry cause we run the heat at night when its cool…
can you get a humidifier? I got the vicks one (I didn’t put the vicks tabs in until she was older) and it helped tremendously! Especially in spring/summer when humidity keeps changing daily/hourly. I no longer have to use it as often - if my littles start getting congested or coughing I use it again until it clears up.
Saline spray up the nose and suction out !
Use a humidifier if you’re able to get one
Humidifier nose frida and suction.
Try normal saline drops, before the nose sucker. Safe for newborns. Thins mucous so its easier to remove.
