When my son was born I tried to breastfeed, which didn’t work. So I ended up pumping instead which was not good for either of us. He wasn’t gaining weight and I was constantly in the ER. Well, 9 months in my right nipple all of a sudden is itchy beyond belief. It’s to the point where regular Lotion and Cortisone 10 creme isn’t working. Its driving me Bat-shit insane. I’ve been to the Dermatologist and well, nothing.
could be yeast/thrush. With my 3rd my nipples were so itchy and my baby had thrush. I didn’t encounter with my first 2 babies so i didn’t really know until i took her to her doctor. He diagnosed us both and gave us a cream for my nipples and oral medicine for the baby.
It’s a long story but to sum it up plain white vinegar worked for me. I just rubbed some on whenever it got itchy… sounds like thrush starting… baby will need it too and clean all toys ect that they put in their mouth
Silicone breast pads or you can get a specific ointment looks like it could possibly be from pumping they are getting irritated
Sure it’s not yeast? Aka Thrush.
You will need a ointment from a pharmacy to clear it up.
Try CeraVe lotion can get it at your local Walmart or target. After 3 years of searching for relief for my son on his eczema, we tried everything. A doc finally told us about this lotion. It worked wonders with his itching and still does to this day.
