What causes pain while pregnant?

9 weeks pregnant today and the pain is horrible it’s worse on my right side. Dr said it’s from the ovary that released the egg but it hurts to even walk has any one else felt like this. I don’t remember this pain with my other 2 pregnancies. My inner tight hurts so bad and my lower pelvic area.

Could just be from all your inards moving to make room for baby.

I have the same experience body change. You have to remember you are carrying a baby

More than likely, Round ligaments stretching. I had the same at 8-10weeks pregnant

Being that early and not being able to walk sounds odd. I’d go to the er and ask for an ultrasound

Sounds like round ligament pain.

Sounds like round ligament pain, I had that too but on my left side.

I had cramps like no other when I first got pregnant. I had prior abdominal surgery. They said it was my uterus stretching and scar tissue pulling. Idk how true it was. But it went away probably by month 3 for me

Could it be sciatica pain? I had that horrible when I was pregnant

Have you had an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy is in the uterus?

It could be a number of things. Ask for a referral to a physical therapist. You could have anything from a pulled muscle to sciatica. PT will probably help ease the pain if nit make it go away completely.

I’d get checked out for your own piece of mind, however, I had 2 girls and never had any pain or contractions or anything odd and now pregnant with my 3rd due in one week and I’ve had so many pains, contractions, ligament pain, and other weird issues I’ve never had before! This one is a boy so idk if that’s why but I have had alot of different experiences that they said are normal! Healthy baby coming any day now!

Go have a urine culture done! I started feeling this, had a severe UTI And then went septic. Please go see your doc:heart::clap:

It could be something minor like round ligament pain but it could also be something more serious - have you had an ultrasound yet? It could be ectopic if that hasn’t been ruled out

Sounds like ectopic pregnancy if you haven’t had an ultrasound go to the emergency room asap for one so they can make sure. It can be life threatening

If lower right side abdomen maybe appendix ??

Everything. You’re growing a human. :weary::laughing:

Have them do an ultrasound to make sure it’s not ectopic. If it is and it bursts jt could kill you if not caught in time. If it’s not that then it’s probably your uterus and ligaments stretching. Remember they stretch quicker with each pregnancy you have too.

When I had pain like that it was an ectopic pregnancy.

Happened to me finally went to the ER I had a severe UTI I had no symptoms of one.

I would request that they do an ultrasound and make sure everything is ok. I don’t want to scare you, but it would be better for them to atleast be sure it isn’t ectopic.

This is why our hospital has a dif doctor check you every appointment. Not only good to meet every doctor who could be on call but also good to have second opinions
