Hi there…hopefully its okay I am asking a question here…I am not a mom but I am a dad. It is about my be my wifes first mothers day with her own child…what are some ways that I can make it super special for her? What do moms want for mothers day?
Maybe a good breakfast, and a spa certificate where she can get a massage , a manicure , pedicure, facial …. Etc .
If you have something you both trust you might ask if they can watch the baby overnight so you guys can go out on a date or spend a free baby weekend
A break from the mundane chores, a happy outing with family, good food and a nap in the sun, a thoughtful, respectful and engaged partner who has been listening to her wants, desires, and needs.

Breakfast in bed , maybe some nice chocolate or flowers depending on what she likes and a break from the chores
I never wanted anything. No dinner, flowers, gifts. Just to hang out and have time to relax together. Picnic, played in the park, had a cookout at the campground and sat by the fire telling stories. I’m a single mom (my ex was abusive and took off just after labor day-son was almost a yr old) and many people said I should ask fkr a soa day, day away from my kid, something fancy I wouldnt get for myself but I just wanted a fun relaxed no pressure no expectations day. Because as everyone knows with kids, things never go as planned lol and what I remember most from my first mother’s day…it was 50° and sunny with a nice breeze, we sat eating burgers, tuna salad and having a fire, my son threw up all over his favorite car and my grandma trying to help poured water all over it and ruined the noise box for it lol. I didn’t care about the fact we burned some food, dropped stuff in the pit, that I ended the day with puke in my hair or the 3 hr round trip drive. It was just we all sat laughing taking stores and just appreciating each other’s time.
A lovely heart felt card telling her how much you appreciate her. Breakfast in bed with no house work to do, maybe some flowers, chocolates, doesn’t have to break the bank
The best Mother’s Day gift would be my kids washed the dishes for once and do their chores without being told and then we can spend the day together
Clean.the house , take her to dinner with out the child appreciate her . Some love flowers candy everyone is different
Each mother is different. I want a day at the spa away from everyone LOl
I love little flowers in a pot and a card. If your kid is okay with it, make a handprint card. You can use it to make stalks and use thumbprints for the flowers or similar. A lie-in followed by breakfast or brunch is also very much appreciated.
A break from it all!!! Let her sleep until she wants to get up! A card and some flowers!
