Well, we usually do cupcakes and goodie bags for the class and lunch with the child(whatever they want)and then they get to pick a birthday dinner because it’s their special day💕

I’m not a mom, but I used to love when my mom brought cup cakes to the class room. Not the office admin, her. Her bringing them was great & she would stay and have lunch with me. Or bring the cup cakes after she had lunch. And she would always check me out and go to the dollar store and get a gift. :slightly_smiling_face: bring party hats for every one, & a small party toy if approved by teacher. Also, I seen where the parents would decorate the hall way with a “run through” banner each year for the birthday. Or fill the room with balloons so they wake up to it.

My daughters bday is during the summer. So no school to worry about. I take the day off work and we spend the entire day doing whatever she wants to. She wakes ups to a decorated room and a fun breakfast ( like pancakes with whipped cream and sprinkles). We normally go shopping and she picks out her gift. Maybe hit the trampoline park or bowling or skating…whatever she wants. Then we have a party on the weekend. I started this tradition when she was around 4 and now she’s 11. She loves it. Before I started this, I sent cupcakes to daycare. Honestly, if her bday was during school, I’d probably let her skip that day if she wanted to and still make the day about her. But that’s just me.

Cupcakes and lunch is enough.

We celebrate on the weekend, I don’t do parties we just take a day to go where ever they want to go, they get to pick a activity (well within a decent drive and not overly expensive) and we go out to eat go to the activity and go home for cake and presents

At my kids school, we can’t take them out for lunch, there’s no options for go home for lunch or eat at school. Safety precautions.
For my two boys who are now 15 & 13 was always just bringing in cupcakes, cookies or even a cake for them to share with friends. I’ve only thrown parties for them two times with friends bc I honestly get overwhelmed with other people’s crotch goblins. But we do have whatever dinner they want and a cake with family and gifts.

I just do cake presents ice cream and I decorate the dining room. My son’s bday seems to always fall on a school day this past few years. I also make his favorite dinner that he chooses or if he wants delivery we’ll do delivery. We don’t do parties anymore not since he was 3 (too much hassle, anxiety, and stress with party planning lol). Just make it special for him. I know some parents let their kids have the day off if it’s their birthday on a school day.

Mine don’t go on their birthdays

Nothing for school but family party at home

So I have a daughter, but I always send her a gift to school on her birthday flowers a little teddy bear, favorite candy something to make her feel special… her school has a no birthday celebrations rule also so taking cupcakes, etc. is not an ooption
