Could be getting to much blood consistently instead of it circulating in and going out , a hole that’s letting to much blood in, a valve that might be stuck open, these are the things my daughter has and we have been doing echos and cardiology has been following her for a few years now.

Hypertension can cause this as well as sleep apnea

I have one question if you didn’t know what it was why didn’t you ask the doctor that is what they are for

Why do people leave the medical doctor just to come to a random Facebook group to ask a medical question?

She wasn’t able to explain it?

Wasn’t she like supposed to explain that to you during your appointment?!? Better call the office and speak to your obgyn

Call in and ask your Dr to explain/clarify. Googling stuff usually leads you down a rabbit hole and causes anxiety and panic.

Ok guys - she asked for advice and clarification: not judgement.

Basically: the baby’s heart has a condition that can cause the heart chambers to thin and stretch which can cause them to grow larger.

Now: this is not the 1600s and many babies actually have this problem - it’s caught sooner these days most of the time; but a friend of mine just found out and their child is already a toddler. And he’s doing great. :kissing_heart:

Breathe. I know as a mom you might be freaking out but remember: the calmer YOU ARE the less stress it puts on the baby’s body/heart.

Do more self care - pamper yourself.
Listen to relaxing music - share it with your baby, (mine loved classical piano music by Yiruma.)
Go get back and feet /leg rubs.
Watch your favorite movies.

Remember:
It will be ok.
Just believe it - you’re already this far along, Trust your doctor, trust your body, and do things for you and baby until the birthing :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

You’ve got this *hugs *
