What does pressure in the umbilical cord mean?

I went to the doctor today for my 30 week check up and was told my last ultrasound showed there was a slight pressure elevation in baby boy’s umbilical cord. I have an appointment next Tuesday with a specialist. I was wondering if any other moms have dealt or is dealing with this because I can’t find NO information on it

If I was you I would pay attention to your baby’s movements and kicks and if it decreases you need to stand up for yourself and tell them you’re not leaving until baby is checked and everything is normal on the heart monitor and ultrasound for movements and heart rate.

It could mean that the cord has been squashed so blood and oxygen to baby could be compromised.

I hope you and baby are ok

You should have asked your doctor what that means exactely

Means baby won’t get enough oxygen if it continues
