I don’t have a husband and I’m definitely not surviving inflation. Just took out a loan to pay my rent.
My fiancé does oilfield. 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. 12-16 hour days. Almost $33 an hour. I work at the school, making $18 an hour as a health aide. We still struggling but our bills are paid.
Don’t tell everyone your business!!!
Framing construction. He owns his own business. He also has a crane and runs that and we also have rental property. I’m a stay at home mom to 4 kids aged 18, 16, 13, and 11
I make my own money…
He helps, of course…
Hes an IBEW electrician (union) and makes almost $40/hr & has awesome benefits, but no PTO packages.
I work also, so we live pretty comfortably in AZ… prices here hit hard after everone and their mother from California decided to move here…but we can still afford for me to be a sahm if i wanted.
My boyfriend just quit his job I work in a Pipe Steel Mill, so he doesn’t need to work anyways.
Diesel mechanic and also gets VA benefits. If he didn’t get the va benefits I couldn’t stay home, it counts as our second income. If inflation wasn’t what it is we’d be very comfortable. But everything is tight bc we have 4 kids. It’s rough out here lol
I’m not married. Single mama, I make $35 an hour as a payroll specialist for the federal government. I also drive a school but for a little extra.
No husband, but I work from home doing customer service making around $20/hour with benefits. I get by with 3 kids. I wish groceries were cheaper, tho!!
My husband is a linemen. He makes good money but not so much now with inflation. So I went back to work and make almost as much as him.
He stays at home with the kids and I work full time as a CNA! It work and we’re doin Ohkay
I’ll say I have two jobs and we make about the same. I started feeling f the pinch of inflation about 3 months ago. I have literally cut back on luxuries like exterminator, to many snacks and unnecessary purchases.
At this point I’m just here for these comments because some of them got me over here .
My husband works in a steel mill. He’s back there for his third and final time. Lol. He tried to go do other things and they have taken him back twice, which they never do. He has 15+ years experience there. Right now I think he makes $27 an hour, but more when he’s on night shift. Also when they’re melting (which is most of the time, but slow lately since steel has taken a hit recently) he makes a lot more than that because of incentives. He makes decent money for around here and not having a college degree. He’s going to be asking for another raise here soon. We live in northwestern Pennsylvania and we are definitely comfortable. I just started working again only part time and I’m making $17 an hour starting out, and I have a bachelors degree.
Mine works as a unarmed security officer just got bumped up to 16 an hour plus works every other Saturday. Inflation sucks having to buy dollar tree items go to soup kitchens pay 300 a week for hotel apartment 15 7 day bus pass apparently mortgage is cheaper than rent here in Charleston South Carolina
Constantly make my life miserable. Other than that, I love him no matter what.
That’s kind of a personal question. How much money do YOU make? Where do you work?
he works in a warehouse, that’s not your business how much he makes . but just know his pay covers the bills, plus some.
however, we live within our means. i also work/own & operate several businesses. what i make gets tossed in savings & if something happens (homeownership is PITA sometimes).
As little as he possibly could , hence the break up
Construction/Fiber Electrician. Pay is chef’s kiss50-58 hours weekly depending on if he decides to work on Saturday. He gets to choose. Always off Sundays. Vacation, insurance, pto, every holiday, and they always make time for him to be off if there’s a special event like anniversaries or birthdays.
He started at 22 and has been climbing the ladder since then (he’s 29 now.) He was a sniper before this.
We make plenty to live comfortably. We have about 7 sources of income on top of us both working. We budget, shop on sale and don’t impulse buy. We save for certain purchases, and don’t waste money on eating out, Starbucks or gas station drinks.
Amount is nobody’s business…lol
26 Specialty pipe welder over 250k a year and we travel full time .
Residential Construction - Floors, Decks, Painting etc, Light/Sound set-up for a Wedding DJ on weekends, and he takes out trash at a local upscale Apartment Complex Sunday-Thursday…Three jobs, and he makes the same as me or a little more than me depending on the week
My husband is in roofing sales, lots of hours and A long commute I guess around 140k year
My husband is a construction superintendent. It’s a struggle but we also live in a high cost of living area because of the work he does. I’m remote and make pretty good money too. If inflation would chill we could be pretty comfortable. Our biggest downfall was our house, when we started the process to buy interest was around 3% by the time we closed we were just about 6%
I would like to know what she does and how much she makes
Husband is in manufacturing making $27+/hr FT. Not enough to sustain us since early this year because inflation took us out of our comfortable position. So I now have 1 FT job and a PT job to make up for it.
Hubby is a trucker driver. Not OTR. I’m a cashier on weekends & during the week a housecleaner for private & B&Bs. We’re barely making it…just keeping our noses above water. If I could I’d move out of country. Like seriously Canada or Switzerland. The US is SO F’ed up it’s not even funny
Truck Driver makes 80 K yearly I work 30 hrs 3 days a week brings in additional 32000. We make it by as a family of 9. We have what we need take a few vacations a year and save wherever we can. Do we have brand new cars? no. Do we have the fanciest house? Also no but we have a house that’s a home where our children grow and cars that are ours
My husband is a over the road truck drive I also work full time in a manager position we make good money but right now every body is on a budget
That’s none of anyone’s concern but his and mine but one thing he works for free is my last damn nerve
My husband sews he makes car seat covers auto upholstery he brings home 800 some a week .
My husband works for a auto auction/salvage company hauling cars. His base hourly is under $30/hr. However, he is paid per trailer of cars hauled each day, rather than the hourly. He only gets his hourly when he stays in the yard. Sometimes he is sent out to locations other than his “home” yard, he makes double the usual route rate, plus a food per diem. He has been away with occasional visits on weekends since the middle of July… but his checks average 5k+ bring home every two weeks.
We own a business and actually had to up on prices due to inflation m. It’s kicking our butts do and contractors now don’t get discounts where I live I pay what everyone else
Pay, which makes projects even harder to sell.
Umm that’s really none of your business
I work at the post office & my wife works at a rock quarry. (lez marriage ) I make close to $35/hr & my wife makes close to $21/hr.
and we BARELY make it. our rent is $1300, car, insurance, etc is eating 90% of our income up!
My partner works for Contruction Company making 28$/hr ish…working 5 to 6 days a week sometimes ! Makes about 5000/mo. I work as a Nurse 3×/wk making 31$/hr…about 3000$/mo.
In my house I am the only one that works and maybe make 50k a year we have 3 kids and get by what helps the most is I only 254 a month for lot rent and own the mobile home
My husband had his own construction and remodeling business but after heart attack and other sudden issues, I decided to work from home buying and selling things that interested me. I’m still a stay home mom, but I have my hubby home too to help with our girl. We make enough for necessities and a few extras, but I don’t know what we would have done if the land/home payments weren’t gone. Luckily, he paid all that off in a lump sum while he was still well. Even with the money I bring in, it’s still a struggle. Prices on everything are unreasonable.
Not of your business really .
Stop asking those inappropriate questions and focus on yourself, what do you do for work, get a job ( if you do not have any ) and help your husband and your house finances , not everything is your husband responsibility
Way to empower women by asking how their husbands support them.
My husband makes $19 an hour. I make $14 an hour and we are struggling. Life is hard rn.
He breeds ants and sells saddles for caterpillars on the side. He makes 53 dollars an hour. Inflation? What inflation?
My husband makes about 35, i make about 90.
We are on a budget.
2 kids private school
Select soccer
Competitive cheer
$800 car payment
He works 40 @ $22 an hour I work 50 @ $48,000 a year…we live paycheck to paycheck
Garbage man. One man’s trash is another’s bread and butter.
We both work and combine gross $100k, but the key is to make a budget and stick to it. Live within your means. Stop spending money on crap you don’t need. We have a paid for 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we have tons of sinking funds (savings accounts) for things we know will come up like Christmas, birthdays, vehicle repairs, ect. Plus an emergency fund.
Scammers be rubbing their hands with all your personal information here
