You need magnesium. I follow Dr. Barbara O’Neill and she’s a holistic doctor and very good and knowledgeable it. What she does. I also take Celtic salt which has the three magnesiums in it as well as 89 other minerals that we need for our body. I have no more leg cramps at night. You also might be low on vitamin D, so you might want to have that checked by your doctor. You need magnesium to help absorb your vitamin D.
Eat mustard when cramping. Couple of tablespoons. Magnesium is helpful
Ask your doctor to check some labs. It could be something other than potassium.

Genuinely curious why no potassium pills. You’re taking the vitamin either way. If it’s from a banana or pickle juice or apple cider vinegar you’re still after the nutrient value. So I’m just curious why wouldn’t you take all natural potassium supplements?
