You get penalty charges, interest charges and run the risk of being repossessed.

Contact them. And see if you can skip a payment. Usually it will be added to the back end of your loan. Either way, it will hit your credit as a late payment.

Call who the loan is through and ask for a defferal some will do 2 payments. I’ve done it with my own. Do it before the payment is due.

You won’t be repossessed after a month…late fee, interest, but try to get an extension
Ask for a deferred payment
Call them sometimes they will allow you to miss one payment and they will just add it to the end of the loan. Trust me call them.

Call your car company and talk to them. They won’t default you unless you are on a strict payment program. Even then there should be options but you should be able to talk to them and see what they are. Find out what they are before you get all your anxiety out of control and write down what they say and make a decision for what the best course of action is based on what they say.
Most places give you a grace period. Some even offer skip a pay for the month. If call and see what they can do to help
