What happens to your fupa if you lose weight?

What happens to your fupa or stomach overhang if you lose weight? Should I be doing certain focused exercises as I am dieting and working out to lose weight in general and ideally losing the fupa?

The skin that hangs is not a fupa, it’s an apron. The fupa is the fat pad- the pubic mons.

Exercise will not eliminate the extra skin hanging.

You can use a sweat belt to tighten the skin some but you will still have some skin. Lower belly has more core type workouts. I went from 260 to 180 in about a year and I still have my mom of 2 pouch.

There’s nothing you can do but remove it. I had a tummy tuck 10 years ago and I still love the result.

I’ve lost 115 lbs and have worked out 2 years now and while it’s gotten better, it will never fully go away I have realized- not without a surgery and I won’t do that.

Compression garments, waist trainer, & lots of good quality lotion or oils can help. Also, red light therapy.

Nothing happens.

I lost 125lbs and mine went nowhere.

I was 180 after having 6 kids then I lost 50 pounds in 2022 and my Fupa was basically gone! Lots of core training! And meal timing as well as fasting and clean clean eating!
