What is it like getting a brazilian wax?

Has anybody done the Brazilian wax? And have they have had it done while pregnant? I’m sure it is painful, but worth it painful?

It’s painful not being pregnant but worth it! I’m pregnant now and haven’t went cause the skin is more sensitive.

I’ve had a Brazilian but not while pregnant, the only part I feel hurts (and not much) is on the pelvic bone because of all your nerves. You should look into sugar waxing if they have it in your area. It’s a million times better

Nothing compares to childbirth waxing is nothing

Most places won’t do it while you’re pregnant cause you have extra blood flow and can bleed more.

I was wondering the same thing. I want to try it but I’ve never had it done. I just don’t want the delivery team to see a “patched up” cootchie😂

The heat may be too much… But that’s it.

Its definitely painful the first time you get it, but it gets easier each month you go. I wouldn’t know how it would feel being pregnant.

Brazilians are painful, always. I did it while pregnant and it wasn’t more painful for me… but pain is different for everyone. I liked it and wound do it again, but it’s a very personal choice.

I always go to a place that doesn’t use fabric strips - the wax cools and then peels off “easier,” kinda.

Have you waxed anything else before?

I did, I have a high tolerance for pain so I didnt find it too bad while pregnant. I basically just get it in my head that it doesnt hurt as much as child birth and then I’m set lol

It gets easier the more you keep getting waxed. You’ll be fine

So worth it. Not horribly painful.

Not worth it. I don’t like the whole having to let the hair grow back long enough to have it waxed again. And if you’re not going to keep it up and keep going, it’s pointless. I like to keep the hair to a minimum at all times. And you can’t do that when you have to let it grow at least long enough for the wax to hold on to it to get it waxed the next time

I do mine myself now and it gets easier every time. It’s definitely uncomfortable but way less painful than razor burn :confounded:

It’s not nearly as painful as you would think. And pregnancy shouldn’t be an issue

I think the laser is less painful and works so much longer after a few treatments

… I personally use Veet but :woman_shrugging:t2: Cheaper, less time consuming AND frankly I have “stubborn” hair :grimacing: NOT fun having to do multiple waxes…

Not while pregnant but it wasn’t as bad as I expected.
