What is it like having a VBAC?

I had my first LO via C-Section 3.5 years ago. I am currently 6 months along with my second and hoping to have a VBAC this time around. I’m wondering if any mommas out there had a uterine rupture while attempting a VBAC. I’m scared of a VBAC because of that risk but also desperately want to avoid C-Section if possible. Thanks.

The risk is not high if you have a vbac incision. Plenty of women deliver babies vaginally after a c- section

The risk is low but it is possible. Talk to your doctor about it! I did have a uterine rupture but not from a VBAC! I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

I did a vbac for my second one 4 weeks ago. My c section was 20 months before my littlest one. If you’re nervous, definitely get an epidural - if anything happens and they have to do an emergency c section there is no time to put in an epidural… They’ll put you today out if you don’t
