What is the best breast pump?

What are y’all’s opinions on breast pumps? I was unable to breast feed with my first child 7 years ago but I plan on exclusively breast feeding this go round. Unfortunately I’m in a state where my pregnancy Medicaid will NOT pay for a pump and my WIC office is totally out of stock basically leaving me to pay for one out of pocket… I would like to have one of the wireless ones but I’m okay with a normal tube pump. Which ones worked best, were the most affordable, comfort wise all that jazz?..

Loved my motif Luna and it has a battery so while it’s a little bulky at least I was free to move around. If you want a wearable pump then I used Tsrete and loved it. With that being said make sure you are sized right and get an insert if need be no matter what you use. Made all the difference for me in breastfeeding journeys between my 2 kids

I use a bioboo… it’s a wearable, rechargeable one from Amazon… so much better than being stuck to a wall pump. You can find them for like $50 on Amazon

Spectra s1 or s2 if you can manage the cost. They’re hospital grade pumps, and I never had any issues with mine. I also have a Lansinoh discreet duo, and it does well for a cheaper wearable option, but definitely doesn’t have the pumping power my spectra does.

I use motif Luna as my main pump and I have a cheap wireless one for when I’m driving from Amazon the brand is Nicegreen!
Works fine and it’s like $50.

The hospital sometimes have some you can rent without insurance. Did you talk to your Dr or just the insurance company? Kids closet in janesville wi has used ones disinfected and cleaned for resale just how the hospital cleans theirs after letting moms use them. They aren’t bad in price

I’ve successfully pumped with both my babies using the Spectra pumps! Highly recommend the S1 since it’s rechargeable & portable.

I rented a Medela breast pump from the NICU where my baby had to stay for a week after delivery. Make sure you also have a consult with a lactation specialist. Ask your OB/GYN’s office about this they will be able to help.
