Mommas what insurance do you go through or can you share some advice on what’s going on with my car insurance? I’ve never had a lapse in coverage my whole adult life I’m 26 no tickets no accidents. We are married and own our home. We drive a 1996 dodge and a 03 suburban and yet these insurance companies want 200-300 a month for insurance like I’m confused insurance has never been that much. Can y’all help a moms understand?
I have gieco, and pay like $235 a month which isn’t bad considering I have emergency towing and roadside assistance, full coverage and insurance In case I get in a accident that’s my fault, it’ll pay a lot of their expenses!
Insurance is increasing with inflation. I have a very good credit score, but I’m getting hit hard too with an increase in my premiums every time I renew. I live in Az and they go by zip codes on where you live. It’s based off accidents in your area is what my agent told me. So people who don’t or never had accidents, clean driving records are getting hit the hardest no matter what you drive. If you don’t have a lien, I’d go liability only. Good luck.

Two vehicles. And it depends on where you live. Did you just get married and add your insurance together? It’s not bad for two vehicles. I have 1 and pay about half what you are looking at. Ask your agent to explain your coverage to you. Certain vehicles are rated higher based on make and model of car and some of it is due to points on your license and other factors like your credit score and where you live. See what they say about your rates and why they are higher than you expected… There are a lot of factors involved in insurance rates and pricing. Shop around but make sure you get comparison pricing with your current insurance coverage not just their agency quote (what they typically quote people for with coverage).
If you have a military connection look into USAA
200-300 for two vehicles actually doesn’t sounds that high… I know it is compared to what it used to be but we pay about that as well and I don’t even buy into roadside or anything (I think it’s a waist of money.) so that’s just out regular insurance…
I live in south Louisiana and it’s high! $200-$300 doesn’t sound bad at all!
I pay $247 per month with liberty mutual. 3 vehicles, 2 drivers. Full coverage on 2, Gap and better car replacement on one of them. Roadside assistance/towing on all 3. 2015 GMC terrain, 2002 Toyota Tacoma, 2000 Dodge Ram 1500.
