I had to switch to 2% and its worked fine.

I drank 2% out of preference. My doc said to drink any milk, even skim was sufficient for the nutrients. He said depending on your fat content preference to drink whatever! Congrats!

Any milk you like. I craved ice cold whole milk with my last two pregnancies though. It had to be so ice cold that I would put ice in it or place it in the freezer for 10 minutes before drinking. Idk why!

Whole milk, because 2% or 1% or whatever percent it’s basically Water down milk! That’s what my kids dr told me, that’s always better to get Whole milk, organic if possible.

I was told we dont need all the fat in whole milk.
to drink 2% or 1%

Whatever your body wants and can handle

Second the oat milk. A mother should not contribute to the loss of another’s child for cows milk consumption.

I drink whole milk. Wic gives me 1% untill my baby hits a year old then i get whole.

My pediatrician told me that there are studies showing you need a little fat in the milk to absorb the vitamin D, so she recommended that my whole house drink 1 or 2%.

Drink whatever kind tastes best to you. The idea being that you should desire what your body and the baby needs most. I drank whole vit D milk and had no problems and no problems with weight after pregnancy either!

Should I drink whole milk during pregnancy? You can continue drinking nonfat or low-fat milk during pregnancy – there’s no need to switch to whole milk. The fat in whole milk is saturated and not healthy for your heart or overall health…googles answer lol

I drank 1% and whole milk throughout my pregnancy had to go down to 1% milk because I had gestational diabetes I crave milk so bad but I couldn’t drink it all the time it raise my sugar really bad

What ever you can hold down honey !!

Drink & eat what you want. I did and my 4 boys are happy & healthy.

Pesticides, fertilizers, antibiotics and hormones in most milk has me buying organic. I eat less meat (& smaller portions) & rarely eat out to be able to afford organic dairy & meats because the benefits are so clear. Of course you don’t need milk at all really. Asian societies get by with very little & still have healthy babies. Our dairy industry has us cowed. Pun intended.

You drink what you like, milk fat makes me sick so I stick to the skim but as long as you’re getting what you need then it doesn’t really matter.

Whatever milk you tolerate. Milk is not necessary.

I drink 1 percent . I’m 19 weeks pregnant and i never could stomach the whole milk . Besides your technically not supposed to drink whole milk past a certain age to begin with to much fat heard that from a nutritionist a long time ago. All through people still drink it lol. But if you want to drink it go for it . But me personally I stick with my 1 percent and sometimes skim I grew up on it basically that’s what mom always got when we were older.

i love whole and 2%, but my dietitian at wic thinks i’m too fat and (i’m definitely not close to fat) all because i gain most of my weight at the beginning of my pregnancy and weighed 140lbs when i went, she only let me have 1%, 1/2%, and skim which pissed me off. i was 115lbs before i got pregnant. get whatever you want and don’t listen to anyone else. ever since she told me that i feel so insecure about my weight and i’m 32w pregnant.

Soy milk or almond milk is the best 2 % and 1 % are bad for you

If you can handle it do the milk that adds dha it has been proven to help with brain development

WIC gave me whole milk. During my first pregnancy I was addicted to milk. I was drinking a whole gallon a day and had to go to the grocery store daily to get more milk.

WIC put me on whole milk to help me gain weight as I had bad morning sickness and ended up a lesser weight during my first tri than before pregnancy lol. Had to gain it back every way possible, so whole milk was the best choice. Otherwise usually 2%
