I’m thinking of weaning my daughter and wanted to know which formulas are closest to breastmilk that you mamas might recommend.
All are really close. see what your baby tolerates as that may gear it. we used enfamil.
I liked using enfamil. I don’t remember which one cause they have a few options but most formulas are pretty close with each other if not the same including store brands. With my second daughter we used mostly Walmart brand.
I nurse and do one formula bottle a day. This is what I use.
My best friend said nestle goodstart was the closest she found and said it actually even looked like breast milk.
earths best organic also is close that’s what my pediatrician recommended
I nurse and formula feed. And the only one my son will take is similac pro-advance.
It depends on what their stomach can handle. Similac pro advanced constipated my baby. Similac alimentum made her spit up constantly. She handles similac sensitive perfectly so we picked that.
Any type of organic goat milk formula. We used kabrita.
Enfamil is good! But you just have to try and see what is best for your baby. No formula is going to be as great as breast milk
We used Enfamil Enspire because it has Lactoferin which is also in breast milk, so maybe give that a shot!
We use Enfamil Gentlease for our granddaughter. Her mom still nurses her at night, but we do formula during the day while she’s here with me. She’s doing really well on it. She’s 4 months old and has doubled her birth weight. Minimal spit ups.
I used the parent choice gentle kind. But I think more importantly than brand is tapering them out of breast milk. 2 days of 3/4 breast and 1/4 formula. Then 2 days of 1/2 breast and 1/2 formula… gets them used to the change of taste too.
This is probably impossible to find an answer to. However what I did with my daughter was give her half breast milk and half formula to wean her onto it. I found that the Aldi Mamia milk was the best and there were no side effects. This is apparently made by Aptimil. I’ve heard that the ready made formula is thicker and heavier on their tummies. X
I swapped my daughter from breast to bottle due to catching sepsis, and I used SMA Gold with no issues what so ever😊 BUT I don’t think there is one set answer to this, every baby is different x
Enfamil enspire
Or European formula HiPP biocombiotik is what I found to be the best
Majority of formulas are basically the same. They all claim closet to breastmilk. I would just go with the top common brands like enfamil, Gerber, Similac and then adjust as to what your baby may need
Enfamil is what I’ve found that I like, their whole thing is getting is as close as they can. They have grown better on this formula like their hair seems to grow faster on this formula kind of thing. Seems to last longer and can’t I’ve felt like they haven’t had any upset bellies on this kind. I use the purple can
My daughters pediatrician recommended Enfamil Enspire or second option would be gentlease. We use gentlease to supplement and have not had any issues.
We use the up & up brand gentle formula it’s the equivalent to enfamil gentlease and her doctor recommended it.
I had good luck with similac pro advanced!
I had emergency surgery and my nurse after heard me worried about what formula to give my 100% breastfeeding baby and she suggested Gerber supplementation because it was sweeter (she tasted it trying to figure out why her baby wouldn’t take the other kinds ) worked great with my older one. My baby now uses enfamil sensitive and does great.
I’m sure they all taste very different so I’d find one that is closer to taste and benefits
