My grandparents are looking at buying a bassinet for my daughter who is due in the next month. They of course want the safest bassinet that there is. Being a first time mom I’m not too familiar with the best brands. Any suggestions? Which ones have you liked the best? Ones to stay away from? Thanks!

As long as they pass us bassinet standards from 2012 they’re fine if used according to the manual. Bassinets are hard because a lot of them are marketed in unsafe ways. Bassinets, and all sleep spaces, must be 1ft from all other furniture and 3ft from windows. Personally I would do a pack n play over a bassinet because there are so many ways to unsafely use bassinets and not as many with a pack n play.
