Unfortunately, none are safe, despite what most medical professionals say.

It’s different for everyone, that’s a talk you need to have with your doctor, we don’t all react the same t9 meds

Tubal ligation. I react very poorly to hormonal birth control.

A vasectomy is the only thing that worked for us.

Short of a hysterectomy nothing is 100% tube’s unless removed have been know to grow back it’s rare but it happens but I opted for the bar in the arm

Vasectomy for your partner is the safest

I got my tubes removed but before that I was on the paraguard IUD, i can not tolerate hormonal birth control. I did well on it BUT it gave me heavy periods and I still have them after the tubal removal.

I have had it going on almost 2 years and I have had no issues. My period is the same as it was before I got it. I might cramp a little worse sometimes that’s about it. My child is about to be two and no pregnancy scare.

I’m on the depo-provera have been for 4yrs with no pregnancy scares and it’s completely stopped my periods which is great too but it’s not the same for everyone

After my first baby I had the Mirena. No problems, light periods and barely cramped. Had it for almost 2 years.

I’m currently pregnant with our second and after I plan to go back on it. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Don’t have sex , easy enough

I had my tubes removed. I’ve had no side effects. It’s different for everyone though…

I have the implant and it’s been excellent.
I would not push a vasectomy on my partner, that’s his body, if I don’t want more children, I need to take responsibility for that.

I’m on the depo injection, I’ve had it for 15m since my youngest was born and it’s stopped my periods which is awesome! I have put weight on with it but I’m 100% safe from having anymore babies.

Birth control is terrible for your body. Tracking ovulation has been super helpful for me!

I had C-sections with both of my kids and decided to just do a tubal litigation. I really wanted to try for a girl, but my pregnancies are just way too hard on me because I have health issues that get really bad curing pregnancy.

Tubal ligation at 34. No changes noted in my periods or anything else. (Current age 44).
