Someone has probably asked this before. But what are your ladies grocery budgets including household items? For 2 adults a toddler and a nb who will likely be formula fed? Due in March and no matter how many times we meal plan and pantry shop I feel like we’re constantly spending too much
We don’t budget we just pick up what’s needed when we run out. We do have 3 chest freezers though plus our fridge/freezer so we always have a large stock of everything.
Husband, myself, 20 year old, 18 year old, 11 year old. Costco 600 a month, grocery store 400 a month so total 1000.00 a month.
4 of us when shop in past and now spend 200.00 or under about every two weeks 2 adults and 2 kids ages 10 and 11
$150-$200 weekly
4 adults and 1 14 year old
We meal plan and try not to drift from our list.
We spend about $150-200 a week including household items for a family of 6.
If your formula feeding and able to get away with it. I Would research generics like the sams club, target brand or the one I use Costco brand (Kirkland signature PROCARE $22 for 42oz.) this one is comparable to both Similac Pro-advance and Enfamil NeuroPro. IT was also recommended by my OB. Each container last about 10-11days at about 4oz a feeding right now. So you can figure 3-4 containers a month maybe 5 when she starts eating more so $66-$110. Name brands will be more than double that Ex. Enfamil NeuroPro 36.4oz can is $49.82 at walmart
We spend $175-$200 a week, plus once a month a large $300 stock ( toiletries, paper products, pet supplies etc). So between $1000-$1100. 5 Kids + 2 Adults. That includes breakfast, work lunches/school lunches and dinner plans
Family of 3, $250 every two weeks
Right now it’s about $400 for every 2 weeks. For 2 of us. Me and my 5.5 year old. That’s just food. Adding in household items. $50 ish a week.
150-200 a week for 3 of us
I spend $150 a week for a family of 4 (myself, husband, 10yr old, 2 yr old)
I meal plan. momsavesmoney.net has a great monthly meal plan for each month. The meal are usually so large, that we eat the leftovers for lunch. I buy the staples (milk, bread, butter, fruit) and then a couple extra quick lunches, snacks and breakfasts based on what is on sale.
I don’t budget. Just get what’s needed & snacks my kids want.
We spend about 1000$ for a family of 6 (two adults, two teens and two children, on a cat and two guinea pigs) Ontario, Canada.
family of 5. and about 250$ a week.
With prices changing constantly, it’s really hard to budget. Just look for the sales at all the stores
Family of 5. Husband, myself, my dad 76, 2 boys 14 and 8. I spend about $1000/month.
$150-200 a week, depending on what we need.
$150 a week 3 kids and myself
