My renewal for food stamps is coming up my fiancé just got a job and got his first check for a week bc they get paid weekly there. My question is I called snap to report it and they told me I need all kinds of things from job and to report it within the 10 days or in 8 days when I can renew. I know we will make to much know so should I just not renew it or renew it and get denied?

It’s fraud to not report it and lie about it
Renew just incase you maybe still get insurance
You need to renew and get denied you will get in trouble if you don’t report it

Just renew, and if you get your benefits loaded on your card just don’t use them and then they will send you a paper for overpayment and just have it deducted from the card.
I would still report it because if not, if you later on need it, they’ll deny you. 
Just need a note saying he doesn’t work at the old job and new paystubs or a note from new job saying how much he makes now. I would still report it and try you never know

Renew and maybe get denied. They may extend alittle to get on your feet. Never know.

Either way is fine if you don’t renew they will cut you off if your kids get medical though I would still renew the income is much higher for children’s medical

I would renew, report job. They will probably send you a change of income form, based on pay and number of people in house you may still be eligible for lower amount

Send in the paperwork they will tell you one way or the other.
If you think you will now be over the income limit I would just not worry about it and drop the food stamps and close your case
I dont understand why poor americans have to get food stamps to get food.
Here if we want free food we just show up at our local church or community center to get it.
Proof of income and Photo ID is not required.

I was getting food stamps with only having one income. Once my husband got a job, we agreed to let it ride and just not renew when its time.
Dont add him on your food stamps
Just renew… people in New York state have been getting arrested for welfare fraud a lot lately. Not worth it!
Just report what he made on his first check, renew anyways you might still qualify it just won’t be as much.
