Apparently my child’s school had an “honor roll day” today where they bring the classes to the gym and hand out awards for the first quarter. My daughter did not get honor roll but she did get perfect attendance and got an award. I wasn’t notified about it. When my daughter asks her teacher if her mom (me) was sent a message about it she says no. But she says another student asked if their parents got the message for the ceremony she says yes. They have always notified all students parents if they were receiving an award. My daughter says “I think she just doesn’t like you” and that’s kind of how I’m feeling also. They even bring the students to the gym that aren’t receiving anything. Would you be upset about this? Maybe not anger but definitely annoyed. She’s been attending since prek and now a fourth grader.
