So, my 10 year old has recently become VERY obsessed with Taylor Swift… I want to get her some kind of music player for Christmas, but she doesn’t have a phone yet, and I’m leery about connecting to all sorts of wifi and/or subscriptions? Are there any good options out there that you can suggest? Hubs and I are mainly Spotify users, but I’m nervous about her having access to subscriptions, etc. iPods are not an option, because you need a cart connected to do, like, ANYTHING. Even if it’s free. Thanks in advance!

Have you looked into an Echo? They make ones for kids and I believe you can connect them to your Spotify account.

Get her a little radio/cd player and the cds. Let her go old school

You see, when I was a kid we had CDs and CD players. No subscription necessary.

Spotify has a family plan where each person has their own account. You can use it on a tablet or iPad too if she has one of those.
We got our 10yo a small CD player with a remote and Bluetooth headphones and got her some CD’s
Old school. Low tech. No internet.

Get her a CD player. They’re not expensive. Get her a bunch of CDs… they aren’t that much, either. I’m sure a friend of yours may still have a discman & headphones. ASK !!!
