What to gift a friend who just found out they’re pregnant?

Nothing yet, just say congrats and buy some flowers if you’re feeling extra.
I don’t think I’ve ever received a gift for finding out I was pregnant , there’s baby showers and gender reveals to come

A congratulations and a big hug…wait until baby shower or birth of baby to give gifts.
I’d personally wait till the shower. It’s bad luck.

A lot of people are saying nothing until the baby is born but I don’t think you mean you want to start decking out the nursery and buying a bunch of baby stuff. Gift giving is my love language so I totally understand that’s how you want to celebrate your friend’s good news! I did little things for my friends when they found out they were pregnant and they did the same for me. Do something to take care of her. Pregnancy is hard and the first trimester is ROUGH and little things to make her feel supported is the way to go. I made one of my friends a little gift basket with morning sickness gummies, self care products like pregnancy safe face masks, heating pads…things to keep comfy while her body is going through craziness! Amazon has these little ice pack things that you wear on your feet, I call them my ice shoes lol but they are AMAZING for swollen feet. Also if it’s her first, there’s a book called “Sh!t no one tells you about being pregnant” and it is HYSTERICAL and makes you feel a little more prepared and not alone and crazy. Amazon also has little baby gift boxes for like $25, my friend sent me one and it has a little onesie and tumblers that say mommy and daddy and just fun little things.
