Me and my kiddos (8yo girl and 6yo boy) are having family pictures done soon. Looking for some ideas on what to wear, don’t have anything specific in mind. Have any ideas??

Solid colours! Patterns are too much and solid colours look much nicer. You don’t need to match, but wear tones that compliment each other.

My opinion…let the kids pick 
it shows their personalities 
otherwise , to me…it feels like you are playing dress up with dolls.
You already bought their clothes, so you know what they have to choose from.
Pick a color and style. Then let the kids pick their outfit

If the pics are inside pick colors alike but not the exact same like white t shirt with jeans . If they are outdoors choose fall colors ( accent colors )
Are you having a photographer take the photos? Ask them. Colors depend on the back ground/location.
We have no idea your culture, your look, what your settings will be…. Where your session will be… we can’t answer that with no info
