What is going on with the sickness?! My kiddos have fevers, stomach pain, coughing, shivering. Got them tested for rsv flu and covid all negative said its just a virus. My daughter just woke up at 104.8! We are on the way to hospital. Anybody else experiencing these symptoms in their little ones??
My son is 16 and I’m taking him in today at 12. Not sure what’s wrong tho
There are bad viruses going around. Stay on top of meds like motrin and tylenol to control the fever. Dont let it run out or the fever will spike and it is hard to get it back down. Lots of fluids too!
Yes, fevers, respiratory, and stomach issues, with a long incubation period. Like one sick one weekend, and then several days before another, just when you think it’s done.
Norovirus is doing the rounds too x
My son just had this he missed 7 days of school. Everything came back negative. He just had a virus.
My kiddos and I had Flu A a couple of weeks ago. We had some of those same symptoms.
Norovirus my family and I were just sick with all that for almost 2 weeks it’s nasty
Could test too early hopefully they will do a respiratory panel swab. Hope ur little one is ok
Flu A is going around. My oldest had a fever for almost 4 days. Bad cough, leg pain, stomach, cramps and nausea. Took weeks to pass. I couldn’t sleep for days because of the cough.
It’s hitting kids really hard.
Myself has been having pressure in my ears and across my forehead that has dizziness that comes and goes and joint pain. It’s been about two weeks with this. No cough really. This morning my 11 yr old woke up with pressure in his ears, under his eyes and a “thud thud thud” feeling in his head and joint and muscle pain. We went to the Dr and she figured it a virus we can’t do anything about but did prescribe antibiotics to treat the face and ear pain and said lots of electrolytes, and Gatorade to keep him hydrated. She said so much is going around. He was sick in November and was tested for common cold, flu, COVID and whooping cough, mono and strep and all came back negative but they have him steroids and it kicked it’s butt whatever it was and he got better. But now we are back there again…sadly.
If sickness comes with leg pain their ck levels in the blood need to be checked. Extremely high levels of ck are what are making kids incredibly sick from the flu
That was my 6 year old first symptom of flu- A. All day pounding headache & leg pain. No other symptoms until 24-36 hours after she told me about aches.
That was our first symptoms, headache, body aches, then kind of a feeling like you were getting a cold/sinus, ears, scratchy throat issues to full blown flu… I tested positive for covid, then rest were negative for covid… it’s been lingering around our home off & on for awhile… been to dr.s, I clean, sanitize, wash hands, showery/bathing… and seems like we are better then it seems to hit again. Not sure where you are located but out weather Temps have been so up & down… I wish it just stay cold or warm up a bit and stay, that’s not helping with sicknesses
