I’ve had one done. Absolutely hated it. You have to lay in the fetal position completely still. It’s a very thin needle they insert between the vertebrae. And they do it so agonizingly slow. I found it very painful and uncomfortable. It took me a few days to recover from it

I had 5 in 3 days due to a spinal headache requiring 2 blood patches for my first birth. The 2nd was barely noticeable at all.
