I forgot what day my husband was born the first two years we were together. I just knew it was very close to mine (three days later). I thought it was four days later. I had to put it on my calendar. It’s really no big deal. I think you are bothered because you had a rough day.

I forgot my husband‘s birthday one year for almost half the day:woman_shrugging:t2: we’d been together four years… lol I have no excuse, maybe mom brain ? Idk, but we all mess up sometimes 
it feels like your looking for a reason to be hurt. don’t make a big deal out of it. it could’ve been an honest mistake but regardless, you need to let it go and get over it.

He got the day wrong oh no how horrible of him for mistaken it for a day before Seriously. Get over it and be appreciative that he tried and just got the day mixed up. It’s the only the second birthday he’s spent with you cut him some slack. You sound ungrateful.

My husband was so excited about valentines one year that he gave me my gift and everything a whole week early. He completely got it wrong but I was absolutely surprised cause it wasnt for a whole other week. We still laugh about that one. It sounds like you’re already feeling a certain type of way about turning 30 so try not to take it out on him. This is acually your dirty 30 which means you get to cut loose and be a little crazy this year

At least he wished you a happy birthday! My partner forgot my 40th birthday completely in fact everyone did. Not a single happy birthday. Not even from my parents. I have never felt so unappreciated in my life. It took my partner two days to notice

My ex husband would buy himself stuff like a motorcycle on my birthday or take off to go party. Anniversary too knowing the whole time it was my birthday and our anniversary. Be grateful you have a man who actually isnt a selfish prick.

Ummm I think he deserves a pass. Atleast he tried and cared enough to only get it wrong by 1 day. My bf had our hole family call his mother and sing happy Birthday to her on May 24th and her birthday is June 24th AND ITS HIS MOTHER !!!A or efforts lol

In this turmoil we’re going through, keeping once a year date is very difficult as with keeping our jobs and lives intact.
