Anyone that’s had an IUD inserted after childbirth, do they usually insert it at your 6 week post partum visit or do you have to schedule to come back for it? My PP visit is next Thursday at 10 and just wasn’t sure what to expect.
Depends. My OB you would have had to tell them before giving birth what your plan for birth control after was. Couldn’t just go in and ask them to place it right away.
