When you put your 2 weeks notice in for work did anyone not finish it out

I put my 2 weeks in as soon as possible. If you don’t finish your 2 weeks out they can deem you non-rehireable and will tell someone if they ever call for a reference.
Also they can deduct from your last pay the amount of hours you were supposed to work

Do not do that , you should always ( it’s possible of course) to let the door open in case you have to go back , need references or ended up applying to a job that knows your previous job employ

They cannot take money from your check for hours you did not work. So you can quit anytime. If you have another job and are sure you don’t need them leave before the 2 weeks if you can afford it. Most companies don’t care enough about the employees anyway.
You dont have to work the entire 2 weeks … But I would recommend letting current management know when your last day will be… Communication goes a long way in regards to respect… You never know when you might need them for recommendation or rehire…

I usually write a letter and give it to my boss. It depends if you wanna burn that bridge. And no an employer can’t take wages out of your check if you don’t do the 2 weeks. The 2 weeks is a courtesy. I’ve literally texted like hey I’m never coming back sometimes you even give your 2 weeks & they’ll say you can leave now lol. Depends on the job and situation

How many placss give employees 2 weeks when they fire them? Truth is u don’t owe your former employer anything
