When did everyone stop doing middle of the night pumps? When is a good time to drop those pump times?
I dropped them after 3 months, when my milk had regulated itself. I pumped right before bed (11pm) and pumped at 5am when I got up for the day.
I breastfed for 19 months and didn’t pump at night at all. Your milk becomes very much on demand at 6-8 weeks. I used to pump milk for storage/extra feeds first thing in the morning in-between when I woke up and the two feeds.
