When did your kids learn to wipe themselves?

Hey mamas! Just curious, at what age was your child able to perfectly wipe themselves? Where you didn’t have to double check or wipe again after them.

Mine is 7 and still asks for help which I don’t mind. He’s working on it but sometimes we all need a little help.

My kids learned to wipe themselves at 2.5 yrs old. Since I haven’t done it.

4-6… Started process around 4, but still double check she is clean enough soon to be 6

It really depends on the child, sometimes my granddaughter will ask for help most of the she’s got it. But I do have to supervise how much toilet paper she uses

3-4 she was also fully potty trained at 2 though.

At 2. I showed them how and they totally got it.

I’ve dated some guys who apparently never learned. :poop:

I think the solid age to at the very least not have to check the butt is 8.
My 6 year can do it but I still check and make sure she is still wiping in the right direction. And my 3 year son thinks if he pee and poop he doesn’t have to wipe smh. So depends on the kid

All 3 kids by the time they went to preschool at 3. If they had diarrhea they did ask for help. Mine are 14 year old twins and a 7 year old. If they didn’t they would get a raw butt we would wash it and put desitin on it and then talk about why. After a few times they learned.
