When do you start Christmas shopping?

When do you start Christmas shopping I waited until December last year and couldn’t afford anything TIA

Usually Oct if I see things worth buying.

I shop around all year and hide it away, but also my dad and daughter are both born on Christmas day so extra prezzie to worry about and extra money to spend. I find spending that extra $$ weekly instead of bulk at the end of the year just works out easier

I typically start in June or July.

I start right when school goes back in august

Now when the big w toy sale and 20 week lay-by happens lol

I start the day after Christmas getting a few things. I get all my wrapping paper and most bags then, as well as a few gifts. I pick up a few things through spring and summer, but really ramp up the shopping in September. I shop and make a plan for black friday where I usually get the last of any must-have items. Through December it’s mainly small stuff like stockings and Christmas eve bags.

October my eldest boys birthday is the 2nd October so straight after that’s out the way I start

I start in January. Ll1 gift herev1 gift there…but we have 4 adult children n 7 grands

I pick up things as I see them throughout the year and as they go on sale. I have a bag of things for birthday, Valentine’s, Christmas, and hostess gifts, etc. Great price on cool jewelry? Buy a bunch. Fragrance gifts, knitted items, gadgets. I often don’t know what to get guys, so often revert to whatever booze they like, which I can get anytime, but might pick up extra special bourbon if I’m in Kentucky, for example. I found some cute bottle covers one year in after holiday sales so that makes an unimaginative gift of wine more special.

I’ve already started. I have my 18 year old son, his GF and my 16 year old daughter. Older kids are expensive!

If I see something and I know it would be great for a person, I buy it then.

Depending on what buying I’ll by couple months before Christmas. Clothes I wait closer to Christmas if I have to return .last couple of years I’ve been later than usual

I always start a couple months before Christmas, start buying small or bigger things so that way I’m not shorting myself!

I’m always checking clearance & sites like Temu. I buy things as I see it. It may be for Christmas, birthdays or Easter baskets. My 10yo is hard to buy for. Ive had my 12yos Christmas gifts for months. I just keep adding to it

I start January 1 st. I pick things up as I see them, or if I order special off of like Etsy or Amazon, I make sure it’s ordered a couple of months ahead of time. I only buy for those under 18. Anybody else gets a gift card.

I usually start in the summer

The day after Christmas…I shop early for birthdays and holidays.

Christmas Eve. I go early on Christmas Eve and buy everything I need, except for maybe the kids toys when they were younger.
