When did breastfeeding get easier…pain wise and emotional wise I’ve tried with every kid and I get to touched out or in to much pain and I stop after a few months but I don’t wanna give up this time
It shouldn’t be painful. See a lactation consultant for pointers and have baby assessed for ties
For some peo0le it don’t get eaiser and it’s something they can’t do. I was one of them
It absolutely should not be painful. Please reach out to a lactation consultant to have latch assessed. Baby could have oral ties that are causing a bad/shallow latch which can cause that pain. It could also just be a poor latch in general and they can help with that and get you set up on a path for success.
Definitely see lactation consultant! I’ve breastfeeding for 10 months and there isn’t any pain. Only pain was first week when milk was coming in.
It shouldn’t be painful! I’m on number 4, and the first one I’ve been successful with. We are almost ten months in if you just need someone to talk to
Shouldn’t be painful.ive had 5. 1st was painful made me bleed but she wasn’t latching properly.
My 1st I stopped bottle fed but 4 after fed until 18 month. Currently pregnant plan to feed again. I’d try find a lactation consultant and try nipple shields that may help
second week for me as soon as my nips toughened up and I healed the blisters from first time nursing woes. incorrect latch
Get a nipple shield. It helped me sooo much when I was breastfeeding. Also helped my girls get on a bottle when I went back to work
