My son was potty trained before age of 2. Then he wanted nothing to do with the potty, so I put him back on diapers. After a few weeks he wanted big boy underwear again. I followed his lead, when he showed interest that’s when I started. I used cereal in the toilet for him to aim, also peeing outside seems to be the best for little boys

I gave my son a hershey’s kids if he went in the potty. As they did it more I moved onto underwear: have them pick it out and help clean up a accident.
