My daughter is 3m I paint her toes I don’t her finger nails cause she puts her hands in her mouth

My mom used to paint mine when i was a infant. i have a 3 yr old and a 2 yr old daughter and i paint their nails sometimes.

Honestly if you are worried about them eating it I’d say younger lol. I did my daughter’s at 3 months old

I think I would if my daughter would sit still long enough for me to do it. She’s 3.5
But I’d also want some polish that’s safe

I did my daughter’s toes at like 5 months old. If your worried about chemicals check out piggy paint. It’s specifically for kids :blush:

I was painting my girls when they were 3-4 years old.

If you are worried about them putting their fingers in their mouth, just start with their toes until they are older

I did at like a month and have since. We stopped hands once she started feeding herself and continued once she mastered utensils. But toes always have been done

Whenever, if you’re worried about toxic polish, they have non toxic ones that won’t harm younger kids that want nails done but can’t keep hands out of their mouth.

I don’t see the rush in it tbh unless they are old enough to ask​:joy::joy:. I did my eldest daughters when she asked me about 18 month but my youngest who’s 2 nearly I’ve never painted hers she’s not asked me so why would I paint them​:joy::joy:

I used to bite my toenails, as did my own child. Neither of us had polish until aged 3-4.
