When should I be concerned about my 7-month-old?

When do you call the pediatrician? My daughter is 7 months old and her eyes are glossy shes been fussy today and my father-in-law thinks she might have a cold or something. I haven’t been feeling well either and have been trying to keep my distance from her but I’m a SAHM and I take care of her all day I don’t know when to call

Call the pediatrician anytime you are concerned about the baby that’s what they are there for if you have to call 100 times a day or go be seen it’s okay

Does she have a fever?

If you’re gut tells you something listen. Especially with your children. A phone call doesn’t hurt, and a nurse should be able to advise based off symptoms whether or not you may want to schedule an appointment for her to be seen.

Call. RSV is very prevalent this time of year and it can hit a little one faster than you realize.

Glossy eyes could just be water
Like allergies
If your concerned call or go to a walkin

Always go with your gut. Your are her momma and you know her best if you feel something’s up call…always better safe than sorry.

Call the nurse line if your not sure

You call any time you think there is something wrong. You can never be to safe an that is what they are there for. I have 10 grandchildren an there is never a wrong time to worry

Id call. Worst case is the dr will tell you its a cold or such and you will stop wondering if she does have something!

When you’re concerned enough.

Always call. Be the “overprotective” one. You’ll never regret calling.

and you have to ask my god call the dr

Honestly i called mine all the time and still do for my now 3rd child not that i don’t usually already know but because i rather be safe then sorry. I learned that with my now 5 year old. She was 2 at the time tripped and hit her head as most 2 year olds do but i knew it was worse than just a normal bump i took her in to er they gave her liquid stiches to her nose but said she was fine i knew she was not as she had dialated pupils and not responding to anyone talking to her. They escorted me out of the er. I immediately took her to another hospital and they determined she had a severe concussion she hit her head just right to cause a brain bleed. They saved her life and i trusted my gut. And her primary care provoder has always told me no question is too stupid or even bringing them in just to make sure you are not paranoid is just fine he understands parents get worried and trusting their instincts with even slight doubt could help your child.

I call any time I wonder if I should call. Thats your gut telling you to be concerned. Under the age of one I was always extremely cautious with my little ones.

If you’re not sure if you should call, then you should call.

Why would you ask permission from Facebook instead of just calling?
