When can you take your baby to a dentist? My baby is 8 months old and has 8 teeth and they have these black spots on them. I brush his teeth with a wet cloth everyday, he does fall asleep on the boob every night though. Can breastmilk stain his teeth?

We were told they should go from cutting first tooth so they can get use to it and then every 6 months also we were told to use normal toothpaste but I think it depends on the area you live in as to what’s in the water or something.
Also to use a toothbrush not cloth once teeth come through x
Well, I say since that is not normally definitely should be at the dentist….
We took ours when teeth started to pop in to make sure everything was looking good. And then every six months. 
Also brushing teeth should be a good habit. Fluoride free etc.
You can take them as soon as they have teeth. I have been taking mine for a year now and he is 2
they should have their first appointment by one or whenever their first teeth show up.
