Good luck. My boys are 16 & 20 now, and I’ve complained about the lack of cute boy clothes for yearsssssss. 
My 4½ month old is a girl and I spend a lot less time trying to find clothes for her.

Thrift stores or children’s things exchanges are great. You can even find new stuff that was the wrong size during the right season for the original owner.
The Children’s Store and Baby Gap had cute stuff, looks like Janie and Jack stores have cute but expensive stuff. Depends on the age of your child. Walmart and Target are fine as kids seem to outgrow clothes every time you blink.
Toddlers and many preschoolers care more about the way things feel and how easily they can move vs. how any clothing looks. When they’re young it’s all going to get covered with dirt and food anyway (sometimes this lasts through adulthood 
).
