I wanna see what percent of women have trouble getting pregnant? I’ve been having unprotected sex since January 2013 and still haven’t conceived. I’ve been so depressed and sad because all these other women keep getting pregnant, and all I want is a miracle baby
Have you gone to the dr?
What did your doctor say?
Go see ur doctor n’ grt refferred to a gyno. I was 12 years off birth control n’ never conceived. Saw a doctor n’ he did a procedure at the hospital to see if my tubes were blocked… i was pregnant 4 months later
The doctors say if it takes over a year to conceive then they can do further tests for your fertility.
You need to both see a doctor. Infertility is trying for a yearnl natural and not conceiving.
I tried for 9 years to get pregnant. Then I became single and just started living my life and 7 months later I was pregnant. Drs. Told me I’d never have kids. They were wrong. Go to the drs and request a consult with a fertility specialist
Not trying to be in your personal business but is it with the same partner? I only ask because he should be checked out too… it’s not always the women with the issue.
It took us 6years too conceive and carry full term, 5 years without protection… our boys now 3 and I’m going through it all over again we’ve been trying for the last
2 nearly 3 years. 3 more miscarriages too add too the tally and I’m just…done…
I’ve been off birth control since 2019. Got pregnant once, miscarried, nothing since. I really want one more, hopefully a daughter.
Start taking folic acid and prenatal for few month and her you partner to take folic acid. If stressed to harder.
took 5 years for me, then immediately lost it. It happened very fast the second time, and my second baby came again after another 5 years later.
Took me 6 years and 7 miscarriages after i had my implanon removed, dont give up hope! I was also diagnosed with ovarian cysts during that time and was told id never fall pregnant successfully. 1.5 years later i fell pregnant with my daughter
Do like the chicken farmer does if the chicken’s arn’t laying get a new Cock to do the job
I’ve tried n been unsuccessful since my son was born in 2008.
I had trouble. I was able to conceive 3 times and each time I was seeing a reproductive endoricologist. After a year of trying with no luck you can contact them!
I would see a fertility doctor
I struggled because I have PCOS. Luckily when I met my fiance, he was so fertile and 4 months into our relationship, we got pregnant with our daughter. But, I was on strict bed rest
It took me 5 years after already having a child with no underlying issues on either side! I would definitely talk to a Dr there are many steps you can take before you jump into see a fertility specialist
I’d recommend seeing the doctor. I said I didn’t want to do fertility treatments but I wanted a second child. Never saw the doctor and after a crazy heavy period I’m assuming a fibroid was blocking a pregnancy I’ve been pregnant 3 times since. Maybe you need something simple like a D&C. You never know until you find out.
It took us 5 years, meds that didnt work and being told it wouldnt happen. Maybe try going to an ob to get some testing
Get acupuncture asap
Yep 20 years. Finally found a dr that cared and now have a beautiful 11 month old rainbow baby!
I was in that same position and completely understand how you feel. I began cosmetology school and put 100% of my focus on that. A couple of months in I found out that I was pregnant. Turns out the key to it for me was to stop trying.
I had unprotected sex for nearly 5 years before I had my almost 3 year old, im 29 weeks pregnant now and had unprotected sex for nearly 2 years before I got pregant this time around. This time I really started tracking my cycles, taking ovulation tests daily, taking prenatals, and tried to eat and extremely healthy diet, and exercise regularly, and after about 4 months of that I was pregnant.
It Took us 11 years after our first. About the 8th year we gave up trying.
Then After our second I was on contraception for 2 years and then got pregnant 3 years after that. (Wasn’t trying)
See the dr, then my advice is don’t try. Enjoy it rather then trying. The more I tried the more sad I got about it not happening
If you want to see an actual statistic, Google it. It literally takes about 2 seconds. And if you’ve actively been trying to get pregnant all this time (tracking ovulation and such) and still haven’t had any luck, then you should be seeking medical advice from a professional to find out why you have been unsuccessful.
It took us 5 years and fertility treatments. I was on the last part of my fertility meds when we were talking about IVF and then we found out i was pregnant. Talk to your OB so they can get you and your husband tested to figure things out
I always thought this was a lie but it’s really true. When yo I stop thinking and stressing about it it happens unless there’s some underlying medical condition. Stress is not going to help the situation. If there’s a medical condition seek treatment and hopefully everything turns out well
I totally can relate. Its hard
I’m on the same boat… It literally just get depressed, some people that I know are on their second round of kids and my heart stops every time… I feel happy for them, it just takes me into a deeper hole…
I have severe PCOS and have never used protection since I’ve been sexually active. I am 35 years old and am now pregnant (naturally) 19weeks. I think its because of the medication I was taking that possibly improved my egg quality - I don’t know it could have been luck. Keep trying it does happen! I’ve suffered depression to the point I’d kill myself, watching everyone fall pregnant. Then I got to the stage where I just gave up and thought it’s not meant to be and ill look after everyone else’s kids
Was told I had a very slim chance of conceiving and if I did I would have next to no chance to carry full term. 2 pregnancies, all complete surprises! First pregnancy was late 2004 I miscarried at 14 weeks and 3 days. I was told it was a fluke pregnancy. Five months later I was pregnant with my second baby, carried her to 37 weeks, emergency section, beautiful, healthy, cone headed 7lb 12oz baby girl. Stopped nursing her at 18 months and ended up pregnant for the 3rd time. Thirty eight weeks and planned section, a beautiful, roundheaded, 7lb 13oz baby boy. Would love to have another, happy with what God has given me
Me. Never was able to but god blessed our family with adoption
After a year of trying with no success I went to the dr and he ran some tests. Came back to get the results and requested a pregnancy test as I finally got a positive home pregnancy test a few days before. The dr said according to my hormone levels on the tests no way I could be but his pregnancy test was positive also. Turns out my body doesn’t produce enough progesterone to carry a pregnancy. I was given progesterone pills that saved my son. And I had to take them when pregnant with my twins a year later. My dr said I could have been pregnant multiple times before but miscarried before I ever knew I was pregnant.
It took us 7 years to conceive our first.
It took 13 years to get pregnant for me and my ex. I actually took my 1st positive pregnancy test 6 years ago today. We didn’t have money for anything other then medical testing, he did have low sperm count. We quit trying and thinking about it. I lost my job with good benefits after 13 1/2 years and 7 months later I was pregnant
Absolutely see a fertility doctor
Married in 2010 took 4 years to have my son in 2014. Have been trying for baby number 2 since 2015.
Don’t wait for a miracle that may not come. Make it happen. Speak to your dr. Ask for options and grab them with all your heart and reach for it.
It took 5 years to get pregnant with my first, 4 years with my second and 6 year’s with my 3rd
Ur age? And time to see a dr
ihad a girl and didnt get pregnant for 8yrs then i had 3 boys in under 3 yrs no treatment thats how it happened
I adopted.
It makes no difference for me, for a very very brief moment in time I wanted my own, I’m thankful it worked out this instead.
When an adult told my daughter I wasnt her real mom she (at 16 and knowing the truth) looked them straight in the eye and told them "The hell she isn’t, I came out of her vagina! " My daughter should have been my bio child lol she is so much like me, in so many ways, its scary lol
Good luck, but if it doesn’t work out the way you want, there are other options to consider.
I had an iud in for a couple years and i tried and tries after i took it out and nothing… 8 years later i was blessed with twins girls
BTW, there are things to help if the problem is on the guy’s side. So many fertility advances are available now, but y’all may need some medical intervention. It can be expensive depending on what you need, but so’s adoption & surrogacy. Good luck! Tell us when you have good news!
We tried for 15 years before we had or little miracle. She is now 10 and had another one right after her.
It took my 3 years, you may want to talk to your OBGYN about getting pregnant, they will help you!
I have PCOS and am extended dose of Femara worked for me both times!
I struggled for 5 years and finally after taking some otc meds we got pregnant my little guy will be 6 months
I was married to my ex husband for 11 years, never once for pregnant. No birth control of any kind. I was convinced there was something wrong with me. I divorced him and started seeing my current hubby, we were not together a year when I got pregnant with our son, that was almost 5 yrs ago. I just had our daughter almost three months ago.
It will happen i was sex active for long time like 18 did not get pregnant till 24
6 years, numerous testing & procedures, multiple doctors and hospitals. 6 IUI procedures and 5 IVF procedures.
You and your significant other need to go get tested if your serious about children.
Go get checked out. Turns out being freakishly tall and prone to body hair isn’t just German genetics, I discovered i have PCOS. Once they diagnosed me with that, we took a more aggressive approach to getting pregnant. Clomid and Provera did the trick. We’d been trying for nine years. So much heartache!
I’m 22 being trying since 16 and had miscarriages pretty early but haven’t had any luck with a healthy baby
It took me 2 years to get pregnant. Then I had twins after my oldest was 2 years old.
They told me I’d never have any… had my first when I was 30 don’t lose hope
After I had my daughter in 2015 my ex husband and I tried for years then after we spilt a year later 2020 I ended up getting pregnant.
Just be patient it will come when it’s suppose too
I have PCOS and struggled to get and keep my pregnancies because of it. I actively tired for 4 years and got pregnant 3 of those 4 years and lost each one. I now have a 4 year old and a 5month old. Lost my first baby in 2011 and had my oldest in 2017.
After a year without success I saw a fertility specialist and found out I have endo and pcos. Had surgery and a few months later I conceived. I was so very lucky to get the help I did
Naw I know the feelings and it ain’t nice, keep trying stay strong, try not to over think, it’s hard but possible. Distract yourself. My first pregnancy was first time trying, which is still a shock. 2nd baby happened after 4 looooong as years. There is hope for you. Keep believing your baby will come along soon. Blessings
Took me 5 yrs of being off birth control, about gave up and was so emotional about it. When I least expected it it happened
It took me 8 years to concieve my first child and after that it took 3 years and my last one took 6 years
I struggled to fall pregnant for 4 years. Started smoking weed. Fell pregnant 6 months later. My lg is now 5 weeks old. Not saying it will work. But it worked for me. It helped regulate my hormones and i managed to also lose weight.
I’ve been pregnant 5 times and only have two children alive I know of at least 3 people right off the top my head on my Facebook that struggle with having babies. It’s a very rough subject is why you don’t hear about it much but sooo many woman go through it.
I struggled for years and started takin folic acid fell pregnant wit my daughter who jst over 6 months and got caught 10 week ago
Took me 8 years and got pregnant with twins! Try clomid! I conceived without it but a friend tried it and got pregnant!
I’ve been with my husband for 18 years. It took us 13 years to have our first beautiful child. Don’t get discouraged I felt the same way you did. Our child is our miracle baby. I was told I could bever have children, but yet🤷
If it’s meant to be you will. You just got to be patient sweetheart and in time things will work itself out.
I wish only the best for you and good luck
Prone to miscarriages over here. I did get very lucky with 3 boys, but hell and back in between and almost died the last one. Had a hysterectomy at 31
I feel so awful for all these beautiful woman wanting babys. Awah breaks my heart. You all deserve to be mothers xxx.
Have you considered adoption?
there are too many beautiful babies in the system that their parents do not want them… or abused them… or worse, their parents passed away.
these babies need love and a stable home too
I was with my ex husband for 14 years and we did not have a child until year 13. When I finally gave up and didn’t let it rule my life is when it finally happened.
5 years after My First and 8 years after my second and Never took birth control.
Took me six year 3 losses and a Dr finally figured out I needed progesterone. I had to take shots twice a day for the first few months of pregnancy. It was the first time I made it past 3 months. Now I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Pregnancy was very hard on my body I was never ment to have my children. But luckily here I am. I hope you will get your baby one day too💜
My mom had a miscarriage before me, then it took 7 years to have my brother. You and your partner should go to a fertility doctor so you both can be checked and they can offer advice. Good luck
I had 2 miscarriage and went to a fertility specialist and found out I have hormone issues. So I need to use medication in order to get and stay pregnant.
I was diagnosed with secondary infertility and it took 7 1/2 years between my first and second.
Have a 15,11 and 3 year old and have also had 3 misscariages
I had my daughter in 2019, accidentally. We’ve been trying to conceive since January and had a miscarriage in February, failed in March, and today is day 1 of my period (hasn’t come yet) with a negative pregnancy test already.
I haven’t been trying for years but the period each month after the loss is heartbreaking. I just want to give my daughter a sibling.
I had a miscarriage when I was almost 16 and it through my body into chaos. I gained a bunch of weight (60 lbs in 9 months), stopped getting my periods, and was diagnosed with PCOS because after the ultrasound, hormone tests, and 2 cervical biopsies the doctor still couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t having my periods everything was normal. That was in 2008 or 09. I didn’t get pregnant with my miracle baby until 2016. At that point I thought I would NEVER have a baby. I felt like less of a woman because I knew my husband (who I have been with since I was 14 years old.) wanted a family. It put me in a very dark place, I got so depressed I lost most of the weight, starting getting my periods and within 4 months I was pregnant. A year and a half later when I wanted to get pregnant again I knew exactly what to do. I lost the weight, started getting my periods and again it took me 4 months to get pregnant.
First, never give up hope! Second I know nothing about you but if you guy’s are not healthy I would start there. Start eating better, losing some weight, (I have heard so many women say after years of trying I lost weight and then BAM I got pregnant.) track your periods if you haven’t already, start taking prenatals, and don’t let your man wear tight underwear lol but on the same hand you can’t stress about it, I know easier said then done but you just have to let go and know that it WILL happen when it’s supposed to. Third, If you and your man are both healthy then maybe it is time to see a doctor.
Either way tracking your periods and taking prenatals are a good place to start.
Keep your head up and hopefully you will get your miracle sooner rather then later.
We tried for 9 years and then sought help from a fertility specialist. Ended up having to do the ICSI process and was lucky enough to be successful the first time. Our daughter is almost 4 years old now. Fell pregnant naturally last year but lost our little boy at 5 months due to hydrocephalus.
I’m Prone to miscarriages. I had my miracle baby a little over a year ago. Before her, and after, I’ve never gotten any further than 14 weeks before losing the baby
I struggled for 4 years after having a miscarriage. I was told after my miscarriage that I wouldn’t be able to conceive nor carry. I tried all sorts of things. The only thing that helped was a fertility bracelet off Etsy. I truly believe it helped me conceive and carry, I wore it the whole time. I had multie scares throughout my pregnancy too. Have a miracle baby boy who is gonna be 6 in May!! I gave it to my sister, she has an incomplete uterus, was told she couldn’t carry because of that. She wore it and had a girl!!!
I got pregnant with my daughter after being with my husband for 6 months. We’ve been trying for over 3 years for baby number 2
So happy for you Jamie Gill congratulations
I couldn’t get pregnant for 10 years. Had a steady sex partner/fiance for almost 6 of those years. I got with someone else and we had 3 pregnancies back too back within a few years. Two are healthy and beautiful. Sometimes it really is just circumstancial.
