Why am I having trouble getting pregnant? Is it because I’m still breastfeeding? I’ve been off the birth control pill since august, my husband and I do the deed 2-3 times a day but I’m still nursing my 1 year old. And I think I just got my period today
You are lower your chances by having sex that often. But also, this is a question and conversation you need to have with your OB.
When we were trying our doc told us to have intercourse every 3-4 days some say every other day but that doesn’t let the swimmer build up to have a good chance of one sticking and not more than 5 because then they start to “slow down and get old” also try tracking your cycle if you can to look for high peak days. Good luck.
Track your period, go to dollar tree & get the cheep ovation tests ( worked for me ) only have sec on or around your high peak days! Usually give or take a week after period comes!
My best advice is to not stress about it & stop trying so hard to get pregnant.
When I was 17 & had a miscarriage first time ever being pregnant I literally thought I was broken I tried for days months & years I was going broke buying ovation & pregnancy tests I was able to somehow push it all out of my mind & four years later in 2020 I got pregnant wasn’t even trying to & have my amazing daughter, fast forward another 3 ish years I tracked my ovation & was able to get pregnant within a couple months!
Best wishes & all the good vibes!
2-3 times a day is really too much! You need to be doing more like 2-3 times a week, you are overloading your body! Stop trying so hard! It will happen when it happens, youre only 3 months in, nowhere near the point of worry yet! Give it time.
That’s way to often! They aren’t strong enough at that pace….
It takes 36 for sperm to regenerate to their full potential….so every 36 hours without fail….and he can’t be doing anything on “his own” either! Fertility specialists will
Tell you this! Good luck!
You need to track your ovulation with LH strips! You only have a few select days out of the month that you can conceive…
I know it sounds very cliché, but it happens when you’re least expecting it. Stress can also add to the complications.
The Flo app is helpful to track periods and ovulation.
Have your husband get checked out
Once I stopped trying, stopped having intercourse with the intention of falling by pregnant, stopped putting the pressure on myself and my partner, we fell pregnant.
I mean literally 3 days after agreeing to stop ‘trying’ and agreed to let it happen when the time is right, we conceived.
Multiple times a day is not going to help either.
Best advice is to track your ovulation and cycle and just breathe.
It hasn’t been that long at all since you’ve been trying. there’s only been a couple ovulation cycles so far.
Definitely use the ovulation strips. Got pregnant right away.
Me and my husband “tried” for almost 8 years. But I only have 1 ovary and tube…we now have a 2 week old happy, healthy little boy !
What does the doctor say?
I use the Flo app to track when I’m ovulating so I don’t get pregnant lol, just do the opposite.
You can do it 20 times a day but if you are not in your ovulation window you are not going to get pregnant
Try in a couple weeks after your period ends?
Don’t stop breast feeding. I got pregnant while was breast feeding. I was surprised. Hopefully you will be too
2-3 times a day?!??
Did u mean week??
