Why does my laundry stink after washing it?

My laundry stinks even after washing! Help! Is there a way for me to strip it, or a ph balanced laundry derergent? I tried putting baking soda/vinegar in the wash and it doesn’t help.

Soak in the bathtub with hot water and borax. I have problems with my kids’ athletic polyester material holding on to smells. These HE washers just aren’t cutting it.

I use this stuff every month or so and it really helps. Most washers also have a filter on the back, near the bottom, that a lot of people don’t know about. It should be cleaned out every 3-6 months. (Look up the manual for your make and model to figure out where the filter is.) Check door seals and make sure there’s no mold and mildew, as well as the detergent drawer thing. I also keep my washer door open when not in use, so the moisture doesn’t just sit inside of it and mildew.

Your washing machine needs you to run an empty cycle to clean it. Use disenfectant abd make sure you clean out filters and hoses too

Clean your washer, and clean that laundry with some dawn dish soap to help with anything lingering.

Make sure you not shoving too much clothes in it. Everytime I wash i only fill it 3/4 the way .

Use some Lysol laundry sanitizer in place of the fabric softener and set it to soak an extra 15 minutes. The only way I wash towels and athletic wear. It helps so much!

I wash with lysol sport & laundry baking soda with hot water. Definitely helped my husband’s work clothes

Your washer might need cleaned, they actually make cleaning tablets/pods you throw in a run through it to clean it. Or if you’re like me, I’ve ran an empty washer regular load and put bleach in it

Do not dry on hot. The heat seems to release the smell in synthetic fabrics.

Start with cleaning your washer- hire a professional or watch a dozen YouTube’s- then keep it clean after you do a deep clean.

Is your washing machine a front loader or top loader?new machines have a clean washer setting it may need cleaned.leave your washing machine door open once your done.to prevent it from smelling
