If you get pregnant with an IUD, will it cause a miscarriage when removed ?

If you fall pregnant with it in, chances are they won’t remove it until after the baby is born.

I got pregnant on both the Mirena and Paragard (multiple times). They left them in place and I eventually miscarried.
The IUD is an effective form of contraception. Fewer than 1 in 100 women will become pregnant within 1 year of use. If a woman with an IUD thinks that they may be pregnant, they should schedule an appointment with a doctor as soon as possible.

The longer your iud stays in the more likely of complications…
My sister had a IUD and she got pregnant.they tried to take it out but not successful told her she had a 50%chqnce of carry baby but both was good
