Would you take your baby on a plane?

I am obviously planning with optimism about the future with Covid stuff. How young has your baby been when traveling on a plane/long trips? Do you leave them home with someone you trust? I’m torn between taking a 6-8week old on a plane/7day vacation and being on the other side of the US or another country without the baby. I’ll try to make this short. I miscarried my first IVF baby in January. I am now set to transfer again in a few months. However, my due date will be mid-February. My sister is planning her destination wedding for next winter(we live in mn) and aiming for no later than April. She has asked me for input on picking a date based around me hopefully having a baby at that time which I greatly appreciate! Thanks!

I would take my baby. I always got anxiety when I left them

Check with airlines and baby dr.

If this would be your first baby i would either wait for the baby to be at least 3 months or not go. 7 day vacation its too much for a 6-8 week old baby
After having a baby is exhausting, your milk will regulate by that time, being away from the baby would be a bad idea too, it can impact your supply and taking the baby with you, mmm honestly vacations days are not the same, i would wait for the baby to be at least 3 months

We took our 15 month old to Mexico for a week, it was A LOT!
We had a great time, but with them being so young, and it’s sooo hot there is a lot to take into consideration. Especially when packing and not being home.

I could not even imagine being separated from my baby for at least the first year.
