Sounds fishy to me especially with how defensive he’s acting about it. Why couldn’t he have a normal conversation about it instead of getting upset that you asked?

Ask again and make sure its because of the virus. If its not then trust your instinct that something isnt right.
Most of you are commenting stuff she will bring up to him that aren’t true an ruin her relationship/marriage. Maybe he just wants you and your all’s son safe. It’s his promotion not yours. And due to covid a lot of places are strict, which I don’t blame them at all. Instead of complaining let him have his day and you go out and do something with your son. Don’t blow stuff out of proportion until you know if he’s cheating for sure. Accusing him of something that he’s probably not doing will make him leave you

Exactly why I don’t date anyone who’s enlisted.
There is a woman going around talking about a graduation ceremony which is completely different from a promotion. Don’t listen to her. She’s not a wife. She has no idea what she’s talking about.

Maybe Lanie is the other woman? She seems pretty pissy and knows the rules for EVERYWHERE. And pissed off when ppl dont agree with her. But if you can ask someone else if you can go, another officer or someone and if you find out you can go and if you can confront him and if you can’t go than except that. Either way lanie will let me know how she knows everything🤦
